I spent too much time on #tdc4900, Friday 13th, and used all my #ds106 tricks but it was fun!

I’ve been participating in MYFest 2025. MYFest has a Discord channel, and #ds106 is now on Mastodon. I’ve been doing the ds106 Daily Creates and posting them on both channels. 

For #tdc4900, Friday 13th, I had an idea to create a noir mashup. I wrote the script, collected some images and music from the public domain, and made a short digital story. I put it on my self-hosted Peertube instance and shared it on Discord and Mastodon. I decided to make a blog post on my Ghost site, but Ghost only accepts YouTube or Vimeo links, so I uploaded my digital story to Vimeo.

Now I have to go to Fedica to distribute my post to Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, and others. And I have to learn how to the ActivityPub plugin works on my WordPress site. It never ends.
